There’s something for everyone on our food menu. Old favourites include a traditional ploughman’s served with homemade chutney and artisan bread, Confit Gressingham duck leg on bubble & squeak with a tomato flageolet bean cassoulet, homemade pies and The Northbrook 8oz burger.
Fish dishes range from our fabulous Flacks Manor beer-battered cod & chips to modern classics, such as pan fried sea bass fillet on crushed new potatoes, roasted Mediterranean vegetables and sauce vierge or pan fried scallops with smooth cauliflower puree & crispy Parma ham.
Vegetarian dishes, meanwhile, will tempt the most hardened carnivores – try our wild mushroom & spinach risotto finished with grana padano & baby watercress or our warms goats cheese, sun-blushed tomato & basil tart.
As well as our à la carte menu, on Sundays we usually cook three different kinds of roast with traditional trimmings & towering Yorkshire puddings!
Classic puddings such as sticky toffee pudding, rich dark chocolate brownie, creamy baileys brulee and lemon cheesecake are all homemade & are dangerously delicious.
All our dishes use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, and our menu changes frequently (with chalkboard specials changing daily) to reflect what’s best in season.
